What I Believe

I believe in God.
I believe that there is a God.
I believe I'm not Him.
I believe a woman doesn't have the right to kill her unborn child.
I believe a woman has the right to choose-to keep her pants on and her legs closed.
I believe Liberals are not evil, just misguided.
I believe not all Conservatives are right.
I believe war is immoral.
I believe that war is sometimes necessary.
I believe that sometimes war is justified.
I believe the current war on terror is right.
I believe we are living in the last days.
I believe that government overkill is destroying America.
I believe partisan politics will destroy us.
I believe the American people must unite. Soon.
I believe Terrorists are murderers, not freedom fighters.
I believe we must seal the borders of our country.
I believe that is the most important thing we can do to stop terrorists attacks in America.
I believe Paris Hilton is hot.
I believe I'm going to be sorry for including that last one.
I believe I am not a smart man.
I believe I am finished.
For now.

I believe you are right on most of the item you listed......but need some touchups on a few.

1. Women do have the right to keep their legs crossed......But men must also be responsible enough to keep thier zippers up. --> It takes two to tango.

2. War is Hell, but not necessarily immoral.....It is an extension of the 'Fight or Flight' response, and is quite natural --> Unfortunately, we now have weapons that make it more terrible than ever, but I wouldn't say immoral.

3. We may be in the last days as we know them....But there are plenty to come for the planet, and for humanity. Who knows how things will play out, though.

4. You are absolutely 100% correct about Paris Hilton....Anyone who denies it is either a Normo or a typical mean woman who thinks all hotties are ugly, skank, whores. --> Follow the link for proof (PG-13)

Have a good weekend everyone.

Mark, I litterally started a version of this post this morning.
I am glad now that I didn't finish it.
Your's is much better than mine would have been.
I dont know whether to say "great minds think alike,"or "Dude, you may have problems..."

On the Paris Hilton thing...
You're right, she's hot.
However, let me say that if she and I were the last two people on Earth, we would be the last two people on Earth.

Oh yeah, Pero, That's what I'm talking about! Yeee Hawwwww!

Tug,is that because you wouldn't touch her or she wouldn't touch you?

I found your website interesting in deed,as a woman's view.

Probably some of both.
I am sure that that one is a high-mileage unit...

I said she is hot. I didn't say she was smart or moral. She is as dumb as a box of rocks, and she has the morals of Bill Clinton on Viagra. But she is hot.

This is a great idea for a post, Mark.

We share a number of the same beliefs, but we have different opinions on Paris Hilton.

My theory: She acts like she's hot, so men think she's hot.

Of course as a heterosexual woman, my opinion of her comes from a different place than the males here.

That said, I think she is no more than moderately hot.

A truly hot woman does not need to promote how hot she is, and Paris definitely relies on a lot of self-promotion.

I knew I would be sorry for including that one. (sigh)

As a heterosexual woman, I will say without jealousy or any sexual confusion that Paris is definitely hot. Some things are just universal. I agree with Tug though, very high mileage.

Hey, this really is a good idea for a post, and I'd steal it except I'd only have to cut and paste it. I agree with you on almost all of it. I'm not a Paris Hilton fan, more of an old school Elle MacPherson guy, myself.

I think Allen Thornburgh had some good points about war, too. Sometimes, although not that often, it's more immoral to chose not to go to war. Even an avowed pacifist like Dietrich Bonhoeffer believed that it is the responsibility of all good men to stop a maniac if he's running loose in the streets, killing people.

Anyway, good blog!
