Best Damn Comedy Show Ever

"I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts." ~ Will Rogers

I know I've used the above quotation before but up until now,it hasn't been more appropriate than it is today. All of the news about the two Democratic candidates for President just keeps getting funnier and funnier. Seriously.

First, it has been revealed that Barack Hussein Obama is not only a racist but also a liar, and now the "smartest woman in America" has proven she is not only a liar, but a very bad liar at that.

B. Hussein Obama seriously expects us to believe he didn't know his "spiritual advisor" was making such racist, hateful statements over the last twenty years. Not only that, but he has now added a whole new phrase into the English language that is now synonymous with discrimination:

"Typical white person".

Now, instead of calling white people "crackers", "White Devils", "peckerwoods", etc, Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Lewis Farrakhan, and Barack Hussein Obama can just say white people are "typical".

Has it occurred to anyone that the word, "typical" happens to be the suffix in a longer word: "Stereotypical"?

And now, the "smartest woman in America" is beginning to look more and more like the "stupidest woman in America".

Any way you look at it, she looks stupid. Either she's making up stories that require a "willful suspension of disbelief" because she doesn't know any better, or she is just so arrogant that she expects clear thinking Americans (that's all Americans except Liberal Democrats) to believe her fantasies, it makes no difference. Either way, she's stupid.

This is funnier than watching a one-legged man in a brewery making hops.

Her newest lie is that she was "mistaken" . She just forgot she wasn't really shot at in Bosnia. Oh yeah, that's an easy thing to forget. I know I'd probably forget that something didn't happen. Especially when the thing that didn't happen would have been so memorable if it had happened.

And if that isn't improbable enough, The dictum around the Oval Office in the '90s, she added, was: "If a place was too dangerous, too poor or too small, send the first lady."

Add to that, Send the President's 15 year old daughter, too. I mean, what the heck? If Hillary can handle it, why can't Chelsea?

What kind of President--actually--what kind of man would send his wife and daughter into potentially dangerous situations? The more one examines Hillary's bizarre statements, the more ridiculous they become.

And Liberal Democrats continue to support these phonies.

Maybe that's the funniest thing of all.

It's absolutely side-splitting!

Do you know what's not funny, though?

There are so many empty headed Liberal Democrat morons in America, that both of these two idiots still have a legitimate chance of becoming President of the United States!

Thoughts From A Typical White Person

"Unless man is committed to the belief that all mankind are his brothers, then he labors in vain and hypocritically in the vineyards of equality." ~ Adam Clayton Powell Jr.

After creating several posts wherein I pointed out Barack Hussein Obama's multiple shortcomings and lack of qualifications to be President, I was all set to, as our Liberal Democrat friends say, "move on". Even after Obama's latest gaffe, in which he called his white grandmother a "typical white person", I was still ready to discuss other subjects. That is, until I listened to Glenn Beck's radio program this morning.

I'm still chuckling.

A caller called in and explained that, as a typical white person, he was terrified of black people. So terrified, in fact, that the only thing that would ease his fear was the playing of music by Air Supply.

Of course, it was a comedy bit.

They played the fear of black people act way too long, but it hammered home an important point.

I must not be a typical white person since I wasn't offended by Obama's description of his grandmother's fear of black people. I'm still not offended.

How can one be offended by ignorance?

I've never been offended by the appellation "cracker", or "whitey", or "peckerwood". Why should being branded as "typical" offend me?

Because it carries the same connotation to me, a white man, as using the phrase, "you people" does to blacks.

So, I should be offended.

Beck reminded his listeners of Jimmy the Greek, a former bookmaker and commentator on some television sports program. For those who don't remember the story, Jimmy was fired from the sports program because he committed the unpardonable sin of voicing his belief that black athletes are stronger and faster than white athletes because it was "bred into them" . You know, just as Obama's grandmother's racism was "bred" into her. Jimmy the Greek was fired for making a personal observation. He may have been wrong or he may have been right. It makes no difference. In today's politically correct environment, he still had to be fired.

Obama has not been fired, or even questioned, for using the same language to describe his racist grandmother.

Then I realized if I had described any black person as "typical", I would have likely been arrested, tried, and thrown into the clink for committing a hate crime before I had time to spit.

And yet Hussein gets a pass by his Liberal Democrat Obamorons.

Jesse Jackson once said he would have felt afraid if he was confronted by a group of black men in a dark alley at night, and wouldn't have been as afraid if the same group were white. Does that make Jesse Jackson a "typical white person"?

Exactly what is a "typical white person"?

Apparently, Barry Hussein Obama would have us believe a typical white person cowers in fear at the sight of black people.

Just after listening to that segment of Glenn Beck's radio program, I was in a jewelry store when a FedEx driver entered and dropped off a package at the counter. He was black. I wasn't afraid of him.

I guess I'm not typical.

You know? I see black people every day. Sometimes I see them in large groups. Up until now, it never occurred to me to be afraid of them. Up until now, I've rarely taken note of the color of a person's skin. Unless they are specifically drawing my attention to their skin color.

Now, walking down a dark street through a gauntlet of people dressed and behaving like thugs makes me a little nervous, I admit. But that's because they are thugs. Skin pigmentation has nothing to do with how I react to their presence. Thugs can be white, too, and often are.

So now, Obama, who has been running as the candidate of "unification", has proven himself to be just as divisive as say... David Duke. Or Reverend Jeremiah Wright.

Are the Liberal Democrat Obamorons ready to recognise his hypocrisy yet?

Happy Easter

"Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once He died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!"
~ Charles Wesley

When I was a child, my family celebrated Easter by going to a sunrise service at church, then coming home and having an Easter egg hunt, usually in the house, because the weather was rarely conducive to having it outdoors. I don't remember having a special Easter meal, other than eating the colored eggs that we children found.

I have since learned that other families have much more elaborate means of celebrating Easter. Many of these include gift giving and traditional Easter meals, usually ham or turkey, served with all the trimmings.

In whatever way each of you celebrate Easter, it is important to remember why we celebrate the most significant event in history. The resurrection of Christ Jesus from the dead.

Christ the Lord is risen today. Alleluia!

Christ, the Lord, is risen today, Alleluia!
Sons of men and angels say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth, reply, Alleluia!

Love’s redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Lo! the Sun’s eclipse is over, Alleluia!
Lo! He sets in blood no more, Alleluia!

Vain the stone, the watch, the seal, Alleluia!
Christ hath burst the gates of hell, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids His rise, Alleluia!
Christ hath opened paradise, Alleluia!

Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once He died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where thy victory, O grave? Alleluia!

Soar we now where Christ hath led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like Him, like Him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!

Hail, the Lord of earth and Heaven, Alleluia!
Praise to Thee by both be given, Alleluia!
Thee we greet triumphant now, Alleluia!
Hail, the resurrection, thou, Alleluia!

King of glory, Soul of bliss, Alleluia!
Everlasting life is this, Alleluia!
Thee to know, Thy power to prove, Alleluia!
Thus to sing and thus to love, Alleluia!

Hymns of praise then let us sing, Alleluia!
Unto Christ, our heavenly King, Alleluia!
Who endured the cross and grave, Alleluia!
Sinners to redeem and save. Alleluia!

But the pains that He endured, Alleluia!
Our salvation have procured, Alleluia!
Now above the sky He’s King, Alleluia!
Where the angels ever sing. Alleluia!

Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!
Our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!
Who did once upon the cross, Alleluia!
Suffer to redeem our loss. Alleluia!

Happy Easter!

A Disturbing Promise

"The greatest mistake is trying to be more agreeable than you can be." ~ Walter Bagehot

In previous posts, I have asked questions and made unfounded accusations about Barack Hussein Obama. Some of the accusations were made with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

I made them intentionally just to anger Liberals. They have no sense of humor, as their responses indicated.

But the fact is, Obama is in a lot of hot water because of his association with his minister, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who Obama refers to as his "spiritual advisor". Certainly, if Obama wasn't in agreement with the hateful, racist, inflammatory things his minister has preached sometime within the last twenty years, it would seem prudent for him to have searched out and joined another church. One whose minister preached a less controversial and divisive message.

Except, now he claims he wasn't present when these things were said. (which is a lie)

And, by the way, it is a divisive message. All men are created equal. Contrary to what Reverend Wright apparently believes, black men are not more equal than white men.

I know I wouldn't continue to go to, or support a church if my minister was continually preaching such non-Biblical doctrines.

It just goes to show. If you have skeletons in your closet, or questionable associations, you'd better not run for public office.

Your sins will find you out.

Personally, I am not so concerned about Barry Hussein Obama's association with his minister as I am about his promise to end the war by negotiation. The only things with which the terrorists will agree are:

1. All Americans convert to Islam.

2. Those who don't convert must be executed.

There is no third choice, thus, unless Obama agrees to these stipulations, the violence will continue until we wipe them out or they wipe us out.

If this is the kind of "change" Obama is talking about, we are better off not changing at all. That is, unless you want to either become a Muslim or die.

It's not that I believe he would actually negotiate a surrender, it's that he is, in fact, making that promise, and that may actually be the most frightening aspect of his candidacy of all.

That he is willing to promise to literally destroy all that America represents. Our freedom, our independence, our life, our liberty, and our pursuit of happiness.

All so he can be President.

What kind of President would make that kind of promise?

St. Patricks Day

O Paddy dear, and did ye hear the news that's goin' round?
The shamrock is by law forbid to grow on Irish ground!
No more Saint Patrick's Day we'll keep, his color can't be seen
For there's a cruel law ag'in the Wearin' o' the Green."

I met with Napper Tandy, and he tuk me by the hand
And he said, "How's poor old Ireland, and how does she stand?"
"She's the most distressful country that ever yet was seen
For they're hanging men and women there for the Wearin' o' the Green."

"So if the colour we must wear be England's cruel red
Let it remind us of the blood that Irishmen have shed
And pull the shamrock from your hat, and throw it on the sod
But never fear, 'twill take root there, though underfoot 'tis trod.

When laws can stop the blades of grass from growin' as they grow
And when the leaves in summer-time their colour dare not show
Then I will change the colour too I wear in my caubeen
But till that day, please God, I'll stick to the Wearin' o' the Green.
~ Traditional Irish Folk Song

The above Irish song is perhaps the best known of all Irish songs. It is usually played with an upbeat tempo as if it were a celebratory song, however, as you can see by the lyrics, it is a mournful expression of grief over the loss of freedom. I've always believed it should be played much more solemn in reverent memory of all the innocents who lost their lives under the cruel thumb of the British.

I could only find horrible, out of tune renditions of it on youtube, so I could only post the lyrics.

Here are some Irish songs that I enjoy all through the year. I was hoping to find some others of my favorites, but couldn't find them on Youtube. I only wish I had the equipment and know-how to create videos of my own. I would post a great medley of "MacNamara's Band" that I have on CD, as well as several other Irish folk songs that I believe are more representative of Irish music. Oh well, enjoy these songs by authentic Irish musicians:

Celtic Woman:

The Irish Tenors (I actually prefer their rendition of Danny Boy to Celtic Woman's but, alas, it is not on Youtube):

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Et Tu, Brute?

"Who is it in the press that calls on me?
I hear a tongue shriller than all the music
Cry "Caesar!" Speak, Caesar is turn'd to hear.
Beware the ides of March.
What man is that?
A soothsayer bids you beware the ides of March."

Julius Caesar Act 1, scene 2, 15–19

On this date in 44 AD Julius Caesar was assassinated by several members of the Roman Senate, including his best friend, Brutus.

Since that day, March 15, the Ides of March, has been associated with bad luck. I don't believe in bad or good luck, although I seem to have had, in past years, more bad luck than my share. Just about everybody would say the same.

I don't remember any particular "bad luck" days on the Ides of March in my own history, except for once, when I was fired from a job. It wasn't a very good job. That was so long ago, it could well have happened on the Ides of March, 44 AD. At least it seems that long ago to me.

I don't expect any more "bad luck" than I've already had this week. Tuesday I had a painful encounter with gravity when a ladder I was perched on suddenly fell out from under me. I fell approximately 8 feet and landed flat on my back. I've been in substantial pain since, but it's getting better. The doctor said I tore a ligament that had previously been attached to my pelvis. Something about a sacroiliac or something.

So, I'm going to work, anyway.

Good luck today.

Questions With Obvious Answers

"...I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin but by the content of their character" ~ Martin Luther King

Up until now, I've been giving Barack Hussein Obama the benefit of the doubt when it comes to how closely he agrees with the pastor of his church, Rev. Jeremiah Wright. I had, and still have questions about whether B. Hussein even knows much about his "spiritual advisor".

Like: How often does Barry Hussein actually attend this church? How long has he attended this church? How much of what Rev. Wright says does Hussein agree? How much influence does Rev. Wright have over what Mr. B. Hussein Obama himself believes?

I don't know how many of his beliefs B. Hussein got from his pastor, and I won't make the supposition that he indeed goes along with everything Rev Wright preaches, and I won't automatically assume his pastor is a hateful, bigoted, racist, nor that B. Hussein Obama shares these extremist anti-American, anti-white views. I'll let Rev. Jeremiah Wright speak for himself, and, by Obama's refusal to distance himself from Rev Wright, vicariously, for Barack Hussein Obama:

Then, I discovered this:

Now, I have additional questions about Mr. Barack Hussein Obama:

Does Obama share his pastors views? If not, why is he still a member of this racist, hate-mongering, anti-semitic, anti-white, anti-American congregation? If so, is he the kind of man we want as President of the United States?

If Obama and Jeremiah Wright are "poor black men" what, pray tell, is the definition of a rich black man?

Yesterday, I heard on the radio that Obama went to the most expensive private school in Hawaii when he was a child, He attended Columbia University and Harvard Law School, neither of which are affordable to a "poor black man". His wife, Michelle attended Princeton and makes a reported $300,000+ a year as an attorney in her own right. So once again, Exactly how poor is poor Obama? For that matter, how poor is the pastor of a church with a membership of 8,ooo?

I made five figures (That's somewhat less than $100,000)last year. What is the criteria for determining who is a "rich white man" in comparison with "poor black man" millionaire Obama and his Millionaire Pastor?

More questions:

When did Jesus, who was an Israeli Jew, become black? Where in the Gospels do they say Jesus was black? Where, for that matter, does it say Jesus was poor? How does Rev. Wright's rhetoric, when he said, "He taught me, Jesus did, how to love my enemies. Jesus taught me how to love the hell outta my enemies! And not be reduced to their level of hatred, bigotry, and smallmindedness", square with his message of hate, bigotry, and smallmindedness?

Does this mean only blacks can be discriminated against? Or does it mean it's acceptable to spew racist hate speech as long as it is being directed to whites only?

Does this mean Barack Hussein Obama is a racist? Or does he simply turn his head when he encounters racism against anyone but black men? If so, why?

And yet more questions:

Why hasn't Obama condemned his racist pastor and his extreme hate-filled racist rants? Why does Obama say his church is "not particularly controversial"? Does he actually believe his church's pastor wouldn't have been locked up in prison for hate crimes if the aforementioned pastor were white?

Remember, all that is necessary for whites to be arrested and tried for hate crimes is to hang ropes tied into nooses from trees on college campuses. Ropes don't scream hatred for other races from lofty pulpits, do they? Why is Reverend Wright not languishing in Cook County Jail right now for advocating and supporting racism?

More questions:

If Barack Hussein Obama becomes President of the United States of America, will he work actively to make blacks the ruling class in America? Will he attempt to relegate the white people in America to the figurative "back of the bus"?

If B.Hussein believes and agrees with the hateful rhetoric espoused by his pastor, will he make peace with Islamic Jihadists by throwing white Christians and Jews to the Islamic lions?

Are Democrats who support Barack Hussein Obama stupid, ignorant, or anti-American, or are they just so consumed by "white guilt" that will they ignore the possibility that Obama and his pastor hate white people? If he becomes President will he work to exterminate white people? Will white Democrat supporters of B. Hussein Obama die defending him?

It could be that the conclusion to be drawn by the answers to these questions, depending on what the answers are, is this:

Barack Hussein Obama doesn't represent America. He represents hate, racism, and bigotry.

"All we've been through, for nothing but an idea! Something that you cannot taste, smell, or feel; without substance, life, reality, memory." ~ King Arthur (From "Camelot")

If Barry Hussein Obama's speeches are to be believed, he will save the world from evil America. He will stop Global warming, or Global cooling, or whatever catastrophe the consensus of scientists on Al Gore's favor list are pushing at the time he recites the oath of office.

Incidentally, when he recites the oath of office, will he place his hand on a Bible or a copy of "The Communist Manifesto"? Will he salute the United States flag at that time or use it as a torch? Will he face Mecca as he takes the oath?

As I mentioned in my previous post, he also intends to end the war by apparently promising the terrorists something that will make them discard their arms and bombs and lovingly embrace the Jews and Christians all over the world.

It is not known what he will promise them, but if it's anything short of surrender and converting the entire world to Islam, it won't work. The terrorists have repeatedly stated at every opportunity that they demand total submission to their God and their laws. They have promised to wipe out everyone on Earth who doesn't convert to their particular brand 0f Islam.

Nevertheless, B. Hussein Obama promises peace. The Lion will lay down with the Lamb, and all will be right with the world.

He promises to deliver free health care for every man, woman, and child in America whether they want it or not. He has even suggested that everyone in America will have to submit to periodical physical exams even if they are healthy. And amazingly, his health care system will not result in long lines of sick people waiting forever for drastic medical procedures. He will presumably rush them right through just like a General Motors assembly line, except with no mistakes.

He has not said how he intends to pay for this extravagant health care plan, but I am sure he has a plan.

All of these things carry an exorbitant price tag, but B. Hussein promises the majority of Americans will not have to pay for them. Only wealthy Americans. One would have to assume he plans to create everyone equal.

In short, Mr. Hussein Obama will bring us his version of Camelot.

Obamalot (with apologies to Alan Jay Lerner)

A law was made a distant moon ago here:
July and August cannot be too hot.
And there's a legal limit to the snow here
In Obamalot.

The winter is forbidden till December
And exits March the second on the dot.
By order, summer lingers through September
In Obamalot.

Obamalot! Obamalot!
I know it sounds a bit bizarre,
But in Obamalot, Obamalot
That's how conditions are.

The rain may never fall till after sundown.
By eight, the morning fog must disappear.

In short, there's simply not
A more congenial spot
For happily-ever-aftering than here
In Obamalot.

Obamalot! Obamalot!
I know it gives a person pause,
But in Obamalot, Obamalot
Those are the legal laws.

The snow may never slush upon the hillside.
By nine p.m. the moonlight must appear.

In short, there's simply not
A more congenial spot
For happily-ever-aftering than here
In Obamalot.

More Catching Up And Obamalot

"In politics you must always keep running with the pack. The moment that you falter and they sense that you are injured, the rest will turn on you like wolves." ~ R. A. Butler

Many Republicans in Texas and Ohio on Tuesday registered as Democrats and voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton in an attempt to help her defeat Barack Hussein Obama in the race for the nomination of President. The supposition is Clinton would be easier for Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain to beat in the general election.

From what I understand, Rush Limbaugh is the mastermind behind this nefarious plan.

I could be wrong about this, because I didn't hear the program in which the plan was hatched. I only heard bits and pieces from subsequent programs which would seem to indicate he did. Anyway, it worked. Hillary won both primaries. Which only goes to prove how much Rush influences his listeners.

Rush is usually right, but I don't think he is this time.

I don't think Hillary would be any easier to beat than Barack Hussein Obama. Especially not by John McCain. He is not that much different than either of them, and, to borrow an oft repeated phrase from Sean Hannity, "There's not a dimes worth of difference between Obama and Clinton."

Whether Hillary might be easier for McCain to beat or not, I think Republicans should stay out of the Democrats business, and let the candidates succeed or fail on their own. I don't much care who wins the Democratic nomination for President at this point.

It's a lock for McCain on the Republican side, and that's the only thing Republicans should be concerned about right now.

Republicans need to focus on beating whoever the Democratic nominee is and let the Democrats fight their own battles.

I just can't imagine the horrors a Clinton or a Barack Hussein Obama administration might inflict on America. Both of them are Marxists.

Incidentally, my resident moonbat, Dan Trabue, says he doesn't believe any black person will vote for Obama solely because of his skin color. I just want to point out that I heard a black caller on Hannity's radio program admit he intends to vote for Barack Hussein Obama because he is black. There was no other reason offered.

So, I'm guessing Dan is wrong on this one.

I'm not drawing comparisons, you understand, but when you see one cockroach, you can bet there are thousands more hiding behind the baseboards. The analogy holds true. If one black man admits he will vote based on skin color you can bet thousands more out there will do the same. The same goes for women who vote for Clinton because of her gender.

Once again, let me make this crystal clear. I am not comparing black people with cockroaches.

Personally, I prefer judging Barack Hussein Obamas viability based on his record. My concern with the possibility that he might become our next President has nothing to do with his skin color, but instead, the content of his character. In my humble opinion, his lack of character is disturbing.

Speaking of cockroaches, one caller to Hannity's program likened Hillary to a cockroach. I appreciate the analogy. His point was that no matter what happens to Hillary, she will always bounce back. Cockroaches have the same traits. They will be the only survivor of an all out thermo-nuclear holocaust.

Cockroaches and Hillary Clinton.

Barack Hussein Obama is promising things he can't deliver. He is promising Utopia if he is elected President. If he is to be believed, and many deluded Democrats do, he will bring about a peaceful end to the war on terrorism without any more bloodshed. The lions will lay down beside the lambs and all will be right with the world. He will negotiate with the Islamic Jihadists and somehow, without promising to convert every American to Islam, they will in turn, promise to never murder anymore innocent people ever again.

It is not known what he plans to promise them in return.

He hasn't yet said how he will accomplish this miracle, but millions of Democrat, Liberal moonbats all over this country swallow this convoluted logic hook, line, and sinker.

He has been hailed by some as the next John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Kennedy had Camelot. Obama, presumably, will bring Obamalot.
