Paris Hilton engaged

OK. I admit it. I have a thing for Paris Hilton. Now I find out she's engaged. I am disappointed. My friends don't understand my attraction to her. Frankly, I don't either, other than the fact that I think she is incredibly beautiful. I saw an interview with her over the weekend and she doesn't fit the most important criteria that I would require in a mate. She is dumber than a bag of hammers. Oh well, it isn't that I would have ever met her in my life, so no use crying over spilled milk, as it were............. On another note, several postings back, I posed the question, "why do people hate George W Bush so much?" that WASN'T a rhetorical question. I really want to know. And don't answer me by spewing that same tired old liberal crap that is more or less the Democrat party line these days. Give me hard and fast reasons, and be prepared to back them up with actual FACT! Just a thought here, but maybe I haven't received an answer to this question because no one who hates Bush really knows why.

I hate him because he's a shifty little bastard who seems to be more concerned with making sure that big corporations are taken care of than the majority of the citizens of this country. But mostly because he's a shifty little bastard.

Oh, I also hate him because he is backtracking years of progress that has been made toward protecting the environment. Pushing drilling in ANWR and openning up other previously protected areas so that logging cos and oil cos can go in and squeeze some money out of it.

Well, your post about the environment is a reason at least. Although you are misinformed about it. Drilling in that area would do little to destroy the environment if any. That is more of the same media misinformation that has become commonplace in our society. I have been doing some research lately about the so called environment crisis and I find, so far, that most of the concerns expressed by the environmentalists are overstated. the environment is not nearly in as much danger as they say. This world of ours has centuries left to live, if God doesn't destroy it first. For instance, did you know that by the time the last existing tree is cut down in the rain forest, that there will have been at least 100 more full rain forest grow in it's place? Yes, that's right. It would take, at the pace the rainforest is being destroyed currently, 300 years to totally remove it. As to your other post....That is just more of the same liberal party line BS continually being spewed out by the Bush haters. It has no basis in fact and it has no merit. You are free to hate Bush if you like, but at least do some research into the real facts before you decide instead of getting your facts from the special interest groups that also hate Bush for unknown reasons.

Oh, and I won't even mention Clinton as a means of comparison. Next to Clinton, Bush is a saint.

I'm glad you asked that question because it seems crazy how many people say they hate Bush and can't come up with a reason that they haven't heard on MSNBC or CNN ..

I dunno, I have nothing against the guy... unless he is the reason my kid can't ride the school bus unless it's in school boundries. Then .. Mr. Bush, you and I need to talk.
