Conservative Celebrities I'd Like To Date

"When I think of talking, it is of course with a woman. For talking at its best being an inspiration, it wants a corresponding divine quality of receptiveness, and where will you find this but in a woman?" ~ Oliver Wendell Holmes

About 310 posts ago, I posted a list of "Babes" I'd like to date. The criteria at the time was basically, intelligence first, and then beauty. On that early list were 2 women that definitely are not Conservative, Geena Davis and (gasp) Paris Hilton. (Ok, I didn't pick her for her brains. I just have a thing for her. Don't ask me why.) Geena, in case you hadn't heard, is a member of Mensa, and that I found attractive, and that is the only reason she was on the list.

I have often said that I find intelligence in women very sexy, but a new criteria for this list is the Babe has to be Conservative. So now, the criteria for making it on my "Babes I want to Date" list is intelligence, beauty and a Conservative.

Anyway, here is the updated list:

1. Laura Ingraham: My favorite of all of them. I listen to her radio show religiously. She is intelligent, funny, beautiful, and really has a heart for people. Last year, she underwent surgery for breast cancer, and it appears she came out ok. Let's hope it doesn't come back. She is currently touring our military bases in Iraq and conveying the well wishes of the American people to the troops, at great personal risk to herself. She is incredible! I want her to have my children.

2. Gabrielle Reilly: I just discovered her a few days ago. She is a Conservative Commentator, fitness Guru, political pundit, and reluctant swimsuit model. And she lives in my home state, Kansas!

3. Ann Coulter: She is Brilliant, witty, and beautiful, but she has an annoying voice, as far as I'm concerned, which is why she is listed third.

4. Bo Derek: Bo is a "10". Imagine my joy when I found out she is Conservative! I don't know how smart she is, but she can't be too dumb, if she's Conservative.

5. Lara Flynn Boyle: Played the D.A. in "The Practice". Dedicated to putting the bad guys behind bars, and Conservative, the way all good D.A.'s should be.

6. Heather Locklear: I've always had a thing for this woman, so it was a real pleasure to find out she is a Conservative. She surely has poor taste in men, but that's why I might have a chance with this one. She's getting a little old, though.

7. Jaci Velasquez; Beautiful Latina Contemporary Christian singer. She has a voice of an angel and looks like one, too!

8. Gladys Knight: My favorite singer for years. I always said, "When I grow up, I want to be a PIP!" I know the background part for "Midnight Train to Georgia" by heart.

9. Kim Komando: Smart and what a wiz at computers! She could help me with blogger issues.

10. Condoleeza Rice. Classy. Classical pianist. Intelligent. Loves Football. Rich. A little old for my taste, but pretty good looking for her age. She's almost as old as I am!

Many of these women can be interchanged in order. For instance, I may decide Jaci Velasquez is too low on the list, and Lara Flynn Boyle too high. Laura Ingraham will remain where she is regardless, unless Gabrielle calls me and asks me out, but that's my list.

Does anyone have any favorites I didn't list? Who are they?

You forgot Carol LieBau, Michele Malkin and Karen Hanretty. The GOP babes, good post :)

And don't forget Rebecca Hagelin

Michelle Malkin is pretty hot.

Goat, Michelle Malkin is the only one of those you listed that I've even heard of, but I didn't forget her. I included her in the last list, but she is married and I don't date married women. I guess some of the others are married , too, but don't research that and burst my bubble. I don't want to be confused with the facts.

I actually considered putting Lores on the list, but since she is a celebrity now, but she and I actually communicate on occassion. I thought it best to keep this a fantasy list. If we communicate, there is always a chance, however remote, that we might actually meet someday, and that would no doubt spoil the fantasy for her, if not for both of us.

LOL. I almost said, about Kim Komando, that she could show me what to do with my hard drive, but discretion is the better part of valour, so i didn't say it.

Let me get this straight. This group complains about how slutty our society is.. only to have a post dedicated to lusting after women?

Parklife. Group? What group?

Seriously, Park, this post was an attempt to lighten up the mood of this blog after the intense heated arguments of the last few posts.

Don't start another fight. If you don't like it here, don't visit.

(sigh) You Libs have no sense of humor.

"I see teenage girls dressed like prostitutes."

I'm surprised you don't like that! After all, you think women almost your own age are too old!
Yes, I'm a lib (with a sense of humor). I'm just tired of hypocritical perverted old conservatives like you!

"You libs"

Sigh. Sure wish you'd use descriptions instead of labels. 'Cause YOUR president would be a LIBERAL oif nbot for two things: His insane insistence on tax cuts, and his war hawkishness. He just looovvvveeeesssss to spend money. He's a tax-and-borrow LIB. Hoo hoo.

By the way: Poison Pedro has been dethroned! I withdraw the mantle of "rightiest of the righty rights."

Sorry, Pero, I have encountered someone rightier than you. And sadly for your side, unlike yourself, he is a complete and total full-time blithering idiot, belly-button-staring moron, and an ass. Meaner'n a water moccasin. Sorry, Pero! :-)

Mark, this is a good way to lighten a tense mood. It got my attention!

I would have to set aside my political opinions with some on your list; however, the appreciation of beauty should not hold a political bias.

I have always preferred brunettes, but I do think that Laura Ingram does have a special beauty. It may be that she somewhat resembles a long lost love.

Coulter, oh man, I don’t know about her. Can’t you just hear that voice at three in the morning reminding you that you didn’t close the garage door?

Condi, is talented and intelligent, but are you sure about her? Can’t you just hear her explain that, “No one could have anticipated that your prized putter would get all bent up, if I used it as a hoe to chop weeds in the garden?”

The rest on your list are very beautiful. I thought I was the only one who had a thing for Gladys Knight. I guess it is a 70’s, R&B fixation that I have. In my first real job, while I was going to school, I was a weekend DJ at a local AM radio station. I would cue up and listen to Midnight Train to Georgia while ABBA was going out over the air.

There is still something about her that gets me.

Well Mark, you are exactly right about libs having no sense of humor, as demonstrated by your liberal visitor!
The funny thing is, they always accuse us of having no sense of humor!

Heather Locklear is "getting a little old though"!? Give me a break, Mark. The "older" the smarter.

Bo Derek "can't be too dumb if she's a conservative"!???? Lordy, Mark. I know a lot of stupid conservatives. I have to give you this though: I know more stupid libs than stupid conservatives. "Stupid" really is one thing that has no political barrier! :)

Gayle said...

Great to see you in a lighthearted mood for a change, Mark. Everyone needs a break once in awhile!

But (don't you hate "buts"?) Bo Derek can't be stupid because she's a conservative? Uh, stupid crosses the political spectrum, just like the flu.

But... (there I go again) Heather Locklear is getting a little old!????
So are we all, Mark,so are we all. And the longer we live the smarter we become. (Well, many people do, anyway.)

Gayle said...

Just so you know, that "many people do, anyway" crack wasn't directed at you. It's directed at all those old libs like Ted Kennedy, Leahy, Dean, Boxer, etc., etc.,! I don't want to risk you possibly misunderstanding me! :)

Okay, I forgot you have comment moderation. I think I made the same comment twice, more or less. So please delete whichever one you like the least, and please delete this one as well. I've been repairing computers all day today and I think I'm slightly brain-dead!

"only to have a post dedicated to lusting after women?"

Think of it as admiration. ;)

Mark, Karen and Carol are Ca. GOP babes (their words), and Rebecca, is one of the top guns at the Heritage Foundation. Hate to burst your bubble but Laura got married about six months ago. Annie is married as well. As to Parklife, his sense of humor is limited to bashing me on his blog, where I go for comic relief, never fails to draw a big grin on my face that I have that much impact on the left. I find their infatuation with us quite hilarious, like the little snits in the school yard that we ran up the flagpole by their underwhere.

Hate to burst your bubble but you had to have heard that Laura Ingraham is engaged if not married by now.

I don't know if my dad knows what kim commando looks like but he loves her show and listens every weekend.

Carol Platt Liebau is a great choice (you can find her blog on my Recommendation List)......She fills in for Hugh Hewitt quite often, and is my favorite female talk show host. More than Ingraham.

Also, Patricia Heaton from "Raymond".

Mark said...

LOL! Those comments crack me up! Thanks folks, I needed that. I've been under a lot of stress lately.

As to Laura Ingraham being engaged or married...Nope, she isn't. She was, but shortly after she announced she had breast cancer, he dumped her. I think he's a jerk for that, but she says they have stayed good friends.

As to the couple of remarks about age...ever hear the expression "tongue in cheek"?

To those wondering why I chose a couple that you deem unattractive...I think they are all beautiful, if not physically, at least for other reasons. I can be superficial sometimes but Intelligence, as I often say, is very sexy to me.

Jennifer. If an adult woman dresses like a prostitute, she has that right, and in certain situations, such as if she's trying to impress her husband, that is a good thing. I don't believe it's appropriate for a 14 year old girl to dress that way. Ever. You're commment was funny until you tagged it with that "hypocritical, perverted old conservtives" comment. As I said, the observation that some were too old was made tongue in cheek. How old is Gladys Knight, for instance? Somewhere in her 60's I believe.

Mad Mustard. that was funny, but holy cow! I'm talking about dating them once, not marriage! Ann Coulter nagging me....well, that's just disturbing.

Gayle, you are right. Comservatives can be stupid at times also. One only has to check out my previous couple of posts to see that.

ER? Are you referring to me??? I do agree that Bush isn't as rightie as I would like, but I still think he'a a man of integrity. I actually like Jimmy Carter, because I think he's a man who truly has convictions, and stands for them, however misguided. At least he's not a phony. What you see is what you get with Carter, in my opinion.

Carter. Bad president. Good man.

As to the rest of the suggestions...You may have noticed, I confined my picks to the top 10 only. There are plenty more Conservative "Babes" out there.

Dionne said...

Wow!! I hadn't heard that he had broken off the engagement. You have got to be kidding me. I heard her even joke that he wasn't going to be able to get rid of her over a little thing like cancer. Jerk is a nice word. Can you imagine facing something like that and then your fiance dumps you? I guess its good that she found out now what a jerk he is. Unbelievable!!!
