Muslims Are People, Too...Right?

"Our obligations to our country never cease but with our lives." ~ John Adams

Barack Hussein Obama says we need to respect Muslims for "what they have done for America".

What have they done for America?

Why have we elected this man to be our President? Do the words, "Aid and comfort to the enemy" ring a bell?

Yes, yes, I know not all Muslims are terrorists, but how many "good" Muslims have publicly denounced terrorists acts against the United States?

Those are rhetorical questions.

I already know the answers.

I too would be extremely interested in seeing the list of the good things Muslims have done for America. When you find one, BZ, please post it. It will be an amazing thing to see because it will have to come from an alternate universe!

I have said from the beginning that Obama is a Muslim, no matter how much he proclaims to be a Christian. To date, neither he nor his wife and kids have been to Church since being elected.

No Christian that I know of would ever bow to any Saudi King, and in his book, "Dreams of My Father" he stated that, "if the political winds took a drastic turn, I will side with the Palestinians."

So, maybe Obama considers himself to be the "Good thing Muslims did for America."

Gayle, I love you when you mistake me for someone else. It makes me feel not so bad about my encroaching dementia. LOL!

Father, I have often suggested Obama may be a closet Muslim masquerading as a Christian to take down America from the inside. I don't know that he hasn't been to church since the election, but it isn't unusual for Christians to miss worship services on ocassion.

I stop at publicly declaring him a Muslim, but his actions certainly look suspicious accordingly, don't they?

Most Rev. Gregori, that's "Dreams FROM my Father."
His father was a socialist polygamist who abandoned his son, and the mother he impregnated, to advance his own career, when his son was barely out of his infancy. He was an alcoholic, too.
I'm actually pretty sure Barack Jr. is not a Muslim. I'm not sure he's not a communist.

I don't think anyone is arguing Muslims' species, so yes, Muslims are people too. When people tell me that not all Muslims are terrorists, I simply reply that not all tigers are man eaters. But, are you going to trust any of them not to devour you?

Don't we all?

You know, maybe with a little less arrogance you would realize that you don't know everything.

So, I must be one of those arrogant Americans Obama was apologizing to the world for recently.

I never said I know everything. As a matter of fact, I often say, "I know something about everything, but I don't know everything about anything."

But since you obviously disagree with me, I am convinced I know a lot more about everything than you do.

Muslim-Americans haven't made significant historical contributions to the nation because they haven't been around in significant numbers for long, here. But given time, there's no reason for it not to happen.

We have Muslim-Americans serving and sacrificing in our Armed Forces.

If you want an example of a patriotic American muslim, look to Dr. Zuhdi Jasser as an example of that.

Muslims, historically, have made positive contributions in technological and cultural achievements, in the past.

but how many "good" Muslims have publicly denounced terrorists acts against the United States?

More than you realize, Mark. You're just not listening; nor is the MSM interested. Their idea of moderate Muslims are the CAIR variety, and only if they're bearded.

And, no, Obama is not a closet Muslim.

Making statements like that feeds right into validating the stereotyped right-winger ridicule dished out by the left.

Hey, Mark. You know enough to already know the answers.

Come to think of it, I already know too.

I like to tell people that I know everything...I just can't remember it all at one time. :)

Well, Smithy, he certainly isn't Christian, even though he says he is. No Christian would advocate murdering babies.

I realize you aren't a Christian so this probably makes little sense to you, but Jesus said, "By their fruits shall you know them." That means, If he says he's a Christian but doesn't show any signs of being a Christian, He probably isn't really a Christian.

Look at it this way:

If you have an apple tree in your backyard, and it doesn't bear apples, but instead bears some other kind of fruit--say--- persimmons, it isn't an apple tree.

And, he certainly patronizes Muslims every chance he gets, and has stated that if given a choice between backing Israel or backing Palestine he would back Palestine. He puts Islamic interests before American interests every time. That is suspicious in my book. But I never said he is a Muslim. I merely said he looks mighty suspicious.

Mark,

There are a number of Christians who, like Obama, aren't anti-abortion. I don't think it's up to you to pass judgment on who is and who isn't a "true" Christian. It amounts to the same as Muslims who denounce other Muslims as not true Muslims because they don't practice the faith the same way.

As for Obama's "reaching out" to Muslims, it's merely his multiculturalist/diversity liberalism acting out.

Yes, but what you said is

I stop at publicly declaring him a Muslim, but his actions certainly look suspicious accordingly, don't they?

And that suggests you think it, but don't want to say it.

Really, your charge of "he puts Islamic interests before American" can define many a liberal Democrat. Doesn't make him a closet Muslim.

Smithy, re; "As for Obama's "reaching out" to Muslims, it's merely his multiculturalist/diversity liberalism acting out."

Perhaps, but I maintain it looks suspicious to me.

LOL, Smithy, As you know, I am a hard line Conservative. I will blame Obama for everything, and I have probably a 90% chance of being right.

Lol...yeah, but it's that 10% of the time I worry about, my friend.
