Good Friday

"Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." ~ Isaiah 53: 4-5

The events that transpired on that day changed everything. Nothing has made more of an impact on the world and mankind as the death of this one solitary man.

And, nothing ever will.

Good Friday is a holiday in Muslim Indonesia and other Asian countries such as Hong Kong. It is a holiday all throughout Europe. But here? Nope.

Hi, Mark...thanks for that.
I accompanied my pal/singer last night as she sang that song...
HAPPY EASTER to you, my friend.

By the way, my Germany stepson from Munich asked me why stores were open Friday! He said even discos have to turn down the music at midnight and all dancing must stop. All stores are closed in Germany on Good Friday and other Christian holidays.
And they say Europe is the 'Godless'area?
