Just a couple of short (hopefully) comments today. First, does anyone remember when this happened? Bush was at a conference in China, and, upon conclusion of a news conference, attempted to leave through what proved to be a locked door. Undaunted, he made a humorous comment about it, and moved along.
But the Liberally biased media didn't move along, did they? For weeks afterward, Liberal reporters and blogs guffawed at the image of a President who was so stupid he wasn't even able to Divine the door was locked before he tried it.
I mean, after all, no Liberal has ever made the obviously stupid mistake of trying to open a locked door, have they?
Now, has anyone seen this article from the New York Daily News?
It seems, "On the way back to the Oval Office Tuesday, the President approached a paned window, instead of the actual door -- located a few feet to his right."
The article goes on to state, "Obama, who was returning from meeting with Congressional leaders, may have been distracted by Republicans' icy reception to his $825 billion stimulus package, which is poised to pass on Wednesday even without a groundswell of Republican support."
Yeah, that's right. Bush is stupid because he didn't know a door was locked. But Barack Hussein Obama was simply distracted and confused by those big 'ol mean Republicans and, while trying to get away from their merciless, unwarranted attacks, tried to exit through a window, mistakenly confusing it for a door.
Well, at least Bush knew it was a door, eh?
Whoever said in my comments recently that Bush and the Republicans will be blamed for any failures of the Obama administration must have been correct. Or so it seems.
In other news, Illinois Democrat Governor Rod "Show me the F***ing money" Blagojevich has been removed from office after a State Senate unanimous verdict of guilty in his impeachment trial.
In addition, he will no longer be allowed to hold any public office anywhere within the state of Illinois.
There's still hope for 'ol Roddy, though.
Perhaps President Barack Hussein Obama will appoint his Chicago buddy to the new position of Secretary of Ethics in his administration.

No way. I can't believe they tried to blame Obama's stupidity on Republicans. In fact, they just need to chant "It's Bush's fault." for the next four years. :)
Blagojevich as Secretary of ethics. LOL! Perfect for the Obama administration!
As for the door and window thing, we have to understand that the liberal media has a love affair going with Obama. Will the passion grow cold? Love affairs often burn out, and I'm hoping that this one does. I'm not holding my breath though.
I'm glad you posted this Mark :-)
Yes the left had a feild day with Bush's mistake why shouldn't we be able to make fun of Obama's mistakes?
Oh, That's Right, He's The Messiah!!
The window / door thing is just another example of their gross bias. Their role is to elect and protect Obama, and they are doing it well.
Hoo hoo. Y'all really need to think about keepin' yer powder dry. Yer gonna be worn plumb out before summer -- and ya got four more years at least, maybe eight, to go.
Oh, and I'd be figurin' out a way to just go ahead and burn the GOP down to the ground, and figurin' what's gonna be left to build on.
Or not. My hope is that y'all keep turning "libertarian" or whatever, and the GOP will be the modern Whig Party by the end of 2009.
ER believe it or not, I half way agree with you.
IF we survive 4 years of Obama's Marxist policies, I would hope by then, that there is something left of the Constitution we can build a true Conservative party on, and leave these wishy washy milquetoast Republicans by the wayside.
A return to good old fashioned Conservatism will save this country if Obama hasn't completely converted it into the United Soviet States of America yet.
Not the Conservatism of a McCain either, but the Conservatism of a Hunter or --me!
Oh, and ER, please stop siccin' wierdo's like feodor on me. I really hate having to reject comments.
ER,
I'd be concerned about the next two years. With people already lookin' upon this "stimulus" package as the spending spree it is, the mid-terms could be another Republican revolution ala the Contract With America congress Newt Gingrich. January is only just coming to a close and in the two weeks since he's been sworn in, he's pissed off people on both sides of the aisle.
he's pissed off people on both sides of the aisle
Yep...per Research 2k, 1/29/09
Obama Favorable 75% Unfavorable 22%
Feodor found his way here on his own.
The fact is, spending is what the government needs to be doing right now. Big time. Going into a deficit to do it, even. It wasn't government largesse that got theis country where it is; it was the reduction of government regulation; and I think most people get that. What most don't yet get is the spending part, but they will get it. John Maynard Keynes lives.
Maybe in the Bizzaro world, ER, but in reality, any fool knows you can't save money by spending money foolishly, and this latest so-called stimulus package will spend money like a drunken sailor on Viagra.
Did last years stimulus package save the economy? What's the quote? Something about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results?
ER doesn't really believe that drivel he spouts at you, Mark. He's just trying to get your goat. nobody that can write is that stupid.
