Playing Music

"One never knows, do one?" ~ Fats Waller

My wife just bought a brand new car, a Kia Spectra. She gave me her old car, a Ford Taurus. While I was going through the mountain of CD's, separating hers from mine, I came across a CD I had burned on my old desktop computer. It is a compilation of some of my favorite old time jazz and pop songs recorded by various artists from Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, to Linda Ronstadt and Fats Waller.

Here is a video of one of the recordings by Fats Waller:

Taurus is an excellent car. Had mine for about 8 years and it was pretty old when I got it.

Hey, I got a "pre-owned" Kia Rio Cinco a few weeks ago! It's a good little car with 33 mpg. Hope your wife enjoys her new car!

I like the song, but the video has too much of that Sambo feel to it.

My wife and I were talking about your lack of productivity on your blog, and she blurted... "he's married. That explains it." Yup! I think she's on to something. :)

Mostly true, Timothy. Other causes are problems with the computer. It keeps turning itself off in the middle of whateer I'm doing. Also, I just can't seem to get worked up over the same ol, same ol, political BS that's going on.

But, yeah, marriage is definitely part of the problem.
