More Catching Up And Obamalot

"In politics you must always keep running with the pack. The moment that you falter and they sense that you are injured, the rest will turn on you like wolves." ~ R. A. Butler

Many Republicans in Texas and Ohio on Tuesday registered as Democrats and voted for Hillary Rodham Clinton in an attempt to help her defeat Barack Hussein Obama in the race for the nomination of President. The supposition is Clinton would be easier for Republican nominee-in-waiting John McCain to beat in the general election.

From what I understand, Rush Limbaugh is the mastermind behind this nefarious plan.

I could be wrong about this, because I didn't hear the program in which the plan was hatched. I only heard bits and pieces from subsequent programs which would seem to indicate he did. Anyway, it worked. Hillary won both primaries. Which only goes to prove how much Rush influences his listeners.

Rush is usually right, but I don't think he is this time.

I don't think Hillary would be any easier to beat than Barack Hussein Obama. Especially not by John McCain. He is not that much different than either of them, and, to borrow an oft repeated phrase from Sean Hannity, "There's not a dimes worth of difference between Obama and Clinton."

Whether Hillary might be easier for McCain to beat or not, I think Republicans should stay out of the Democrats business, and let the candidates succeed or fail on their own. I don't much care who wins the Democratic nomination for President at this point.

It's a lock for McCain on the Republican side, and that's the only thing Republicans should be concerned about right now.

Republicans need to focus on beating whoever the Democratic nominee is and let the Democrats fight their own battles.

I just can't imagine the horrors a Clinton or a Barack Hussein Obama administration might inflict on America. Both of them are Marxists.

Incidentally, my resident moonbat, Dan Trabue, says he doesn't believe any black person will vote for Obama solely because of his skin color. I just want to point out that I heard a black caller on Hannity's radio program admit he intends to vote for Barack Hussein Obama because he is black. There was no other reason offered.

So, I'm guessing Dan is wrong on this one.

I'm not drawing comparisons, you understand, but when you see one cockroach, you can bet there are thousands more hiding behind the baseboards. The analogy holds true. If one black man admits he will vote based on skin color you can bet thousands more out there will do the same. The same goes for women who vote for Clinton because of her gender.

Once again, let me make this crystal clear. I am not comparing black people with cockroaches.

Personally, I prefer judging Barack Hussein Obamas viability based on his record. My concern with the possibility that he might become our next President has nothing to do with his skin color, but instead, the content of his character. In my humble opinion, his lack of character is disturbing.

Speaking of cockroaches, one caller to Hannity's program likened Hillary to a cockroach. I appreciate the analogy. His point was that no matter what happens to Hillary, she will always bounce back. Cockroaches have the same traits. They will be the only survivor of an all out thermo-nuclear holocaust.

Cockroaches and Hillary Clinton.

Barack Hussein Obama is promising things he can't deliver. He is promising Utopia if he is elected President. If he is to be believed, and many deluded Democrats do, he will bring about a peaceful end to the war on terrorism without any more bloodshed. The lions will lay down beside the lambs and all will be right with the world. He will negotiate with the Islamic Jihadists and somehow, without promising to convert every American to Islam, they will in turn, promise to never murder anymore innocent people ever again.

It is not known what he plans to promise them in return.

He hasn't yet said how he will accomplish this miracle, but millions of Democrat, Liberal moonbats all over this country swallow this convoluted logic hook, line, and sinker.

He has been hailed by some as the next John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

Kennedy had Camelot. Obama, presumably, will bring Obamalot.

This reminds me of the Democrats promise to end the "Pain at the Pump" if we gave them congress.

The Dems best advantage is their supporters have a short memory and low standards. Why else do they have to rely on "bumper sticker" slogans?

The point of pushing Mrs. bill clinton was to keep the chaos in the democrat party going as long as possible because Mrs. bill clinton has no problem launching attacks against fellow Americans.

This leads to another thought. President clinton instituted Rendition under his administration. Since Senator McCain has said he won't attack either one, but most of all Senator Barry it COULD be the political version of waterboarding being done by another entity so Senator McCain can keep his honorable appearance.

Anyway it's sliced it sure is fun to watch. I just wish Senator Barry had the intestinal fortitude not to fire that advisor. I thought liberals were big on speaking truth to power?

Laura Ingraham was on O'Reilley tonight and they discussed the Limbaugh strategy. She made a good point saying that as far as the states involved, if their election laws leave the option open for cross voting like this, then it is no one's business that a Hillary "hater" voted for her in order to defeat the Obama-nable alternative. People are free to choose based on any reason they might have. It is the process working as intended, even though it seems, in this case, repugnant that a conservative and/or Republican would do such a thing as vote for Hillary. I agree that there isn't much in the way of difference between the two, but some might feel otherwise and for them this tactic is a pretty good idea.

So it's OK to call Hillary a roach, but not Hussein, because you are afraid it will sound racist? They are both scum that would gag even the cockroaches...

Mark said...

I am not afraid of being labeled a racist. The people who would make that charge against me are racist themselves, because they attempt to make race an issue in every statement, no matter the intention.

I make that disclaimer to keep them from cluttering up my blog with their inane prattle.

I know why Republicans voted for Hillary. The idea is not a bad one, but as I said, I think the Democrats should be allowed to fail or succeed on their own. Left to themselves, they will self destruct.

Great piece Mark. However, there is a small error: Cockroaches will not survive an all out thermo-nuclear holocaust, but the comparison of Hillary to a roach still works for me.

Heh heh.

Mark, I agree with you, Republicans should stay out of the Democrats primaries and caucuses and let them sink or swim on their own. We have enough problems of our own when we have Liberals running as Republicans and sticking it to us Conservatives at every turn.

Maybe Obama, if elected will promise the Islamists that he will place America under Sharia Law.

At this point in time, I really don't see that it matters much any way as to who is elected, no matter who gets in we are being sold out. McCain, Hillary and Obama all plan to continue on signing more and more "Free Trade" Agreements as we lose more and more good paying jobs. They talk about retraining American workers, for what? Low paying make-work programs that we had under the Johnson administration that trained people to be beauticians, nursing assistants, kitchen aids, etc., while all of our manufacturing jobs are exported to the countries we sign "Free Trade" agreements with?

Also, none of the candidates plans to really secure our borders and they all want some form of amnesty for the illegals. So what difference does it make whose butt occupies the Oval Office. Were screwed no matter how you slice it.

Rush's plan wasnt to hard to figure out.

The Daily Kooks did the same thing to us.

They had people cross over and vote for Romney trying to throw our election into turmoil and it backfired!

If the lefty's can play the game they should know we are better at it.

I think it was a great plan, now Hillary and Obama are in a Civil war, as well as the DNC and all the Delegates in Florida and Michigan have to be seated but on who's side?

No one want's a re-do primary in Florida and Michigan, well the Dems do but they dont want to pay for it and the Governor of Florida say's he's not paying for it, so there is a real pickle going on, on the Dem side.

I think Howard Dean really screwed the pooch this time.

And while all this is going on, McCain has a chance to reach more Conservatives and get his message across.

Speaking of McCain, I would rather have 10% conservative then 0%.

I have a question about the Republicans staying out of the Democrat's primaries. Why is it alright for the demcrats to vote in the Republican primaries, but when the Republicans do the same all the sudden there is meddling in the process?

Because Republicans, unlike Democrats, have integrity. When Republicans act like Democrats they lower themselves to the Democrats level.

Actually, mark, the fact that Rush's strategy was implemented by Republican voters, proves your last paragraph wrong. It was a rediculous statement anyway.

And why do you insist on referring to Senator Obama's middle name? Why don't you use McClain's middle name or any other candidates middle name?

Why do you do that?

Because I think it's important for everyone to know that Barack Hussein Obama has Muslim roots, and as such, cannot be trusted to lead America's armed forces against Muslim extremists.

Has anyone considered he may be a terrorist plant? Is it too farfetched to theorize he might be trying to destroy America from within?

If Bush planned the 9/11 attacks as many Liberals have charged, B. Hussein Obama can be a terrorist plant.

It’s hard to imagine, as a “white” person, that anyone would vote solely on skin color, but that’s a reality we all need to face. Unpleasant yes, Realistic yes! There are many who right or wrong believe they’ve been “smacked down” by the “establishment” . Obama is the “great white (opps, I mean brown) hope that many have been “waiting” for,

Even though his views seem vapid to us, even though when trying to “nail” down his supporters we hear nothing new, we shouldn’t be shy in pointing out his shortcomings.

His views are wrong. How he sees America is wrong.. And anyone who sees him otherwise is just plain uneducated.

There is no doubt, this man is dangerous to the well being of this county.

He is not that much different than either of them,

Is that not a hyperbolic statement, based on emotionalism and not on fact?

Dan Trabue, says he doesn't believe any black person will vote for Obama solely because of his skin color.

I beg to differ on that, with Dan, as well.

Incidentally, if Muslims and Japanese living in Obama could vote, many of them would vote for Obama solely because of his middle name and last name.

People will vote on the most superficial of reasoning.

Because I think it's important for everyone to know that Barack Hussein Obama has Muslim roots, and as such, cannot be trusted to lead America's armed forces against Muslim extremists.

And I disagree with that statement, Mark.

Obama is American and he is Christian. I think it's a political losing strategy- a shameful one at best- to try and link Obama to Islamo-fascists.

And yes, given the right man, I would vote for a Muslim man for our highest office. If you read the articles of Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, he shares all of your values and appreciation for our Judeo-Christian heritage and traditions. He understands it better than many Christians in this country.

BE AFRAID!! BE VERRY VERRRY AFRAID!!

RUN FOR THE HILLS! THE COMMIES AND MUSLIMS ARE COMING!!

DOOM, FEAR, DESTRUCTION!!!

I know you're not apparently printing these, so this is just for you, Mark.

Again, all the recent evidence notwithstanding, I believe you to be a better man than to be a fear-monger and a rumor-monger, distorting people's positions for base political reasons.

Shame, Mark. Shame on you. It's not too late to repent, though. Give it a thought.

You are better than this.

To be fair, what I actually said was that no significant number of folk will vote based purely on skin color. I acknowledged that there will be some who'd vote for an African American based on skin color (and an even larger number of white folk who WOULDN'T vote for the same reason).

My point was that it would not be a SIGNIFICANT portion of the population to do so and to suggest (as some did here) that "most blacks" would vote for Obama purely for skin color were itching to be called racist and ignorant and rightly so.

But I understand that we're not as interested in what people say here as what we THINK they mean, so, whatever, just, whatever... (not you, wordsmith - as you so nobly indicated by your refusal to play the Muslim card, but apparently others here).

I can make another arguement on that point!

If we DONT stoop to thier level we arent going to win!

I'm sick to death of all the dirty tricks the Democrats have played on us the last few elections. Claiming Disenfranchisement, Registering Dead People To Vote, Registering Convicted Felons, Illegal Aliens, and slashing the tires of "Republican Get out the vote vans" comes to mind.

We can play the game just like they can and still keep our integrity!

I dont mean getting down and wollering with the pigs, but I'm saying if they can do it to us, we sure can do it to them in a subtle way :-)

Without Registering people that dont belong, and slashing tires.

But get ready, come election day if we dont hit the Democrats hard, we will see more of this crap!

Frankly, if a state allows that I can vote one way in the primaries, and then vote another way in the general, I'd say one has a vote to use any way one wants. It is every bit a responsible vote to cast one for whatever "enemy" candidate one feels is best able to screw up the enemy party's chances in the general. I think it's an obvious and thoughtful way to really make a vote count. What is the end game after all, but to have one's party of choice prevail in the end? I do not, however, encourage anyone to vote in a manner prohibited by state voting laws. But if the law allows cross over voting in this manner, I say, go for it. Perhaps it will lead to a change in the law of such states, perhaps not. Should it help the GOP win, and it's legal, BAM!
