What Was In My Head When I Awoke.

A couple of days ago, I saw just the beginning of a digital remake of "The Wizard of Oz" on Blu-Ray. While the twister was tearing up Dorothy's farm, this tune was playing. Without words, of course. I have known this song since the Animaniacs were on TV, but it wasn't until recently I realized this was the tune from the twister scene in "Wizard of OZ".

Now I can't get the song out of my head.

I used to hurry home from work so that I could sit with my daughters and watch Animaniacs. They got bored, but I loved it.

Oh, how I wish my little boy would get bored with a television show...

My Wife and I are experts on Spongebob Squarepants, and the Veggietales version of the story of Jonah.

A few days ago, the Lord reached down from Heaven, and gave me the idea of showing him the "Schoolhouse Rock" cartoons on Youtube. (Remember those?)

Then, in His mercy, He (The Lord) gave a revelation to my Wife that Caleb could learn to start the videos over for himself, and she taught him how.

So at least the monotony has been broken somewhat, and we are all learning about adverbs and conjunctions, and how a Bill becomes a Law.

The downside is that I have now completely lost my computer during daylight hours to a not-even-two-year-old who is obsessed with songs about grammatical correctness.

Life is great!
