Responding To More Liberal Idiocy

"False words are not evil in themselves, but they infect the soul with evil." ~ Plato

In a comment at Joe's Blog, one particularly annoying, persistent Liberal posted this link (be patient, for some reason the web page loads painfully slow), ostensibly, I guess, to make some point. I have quite forgotten the point he was trying to make, as Liberals usually make such stupid points, they really aren't worth taking the time and effort to consider.

Even so, I tried to read the article he linked to--I really did-- but I couldn't get past the following exercise in absurdity:

"Take the enormous amount of misinformation that is taken for truth by Fox audiences: the belief that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and that he was in on 9/11, the belief that climate change isn't real and/or man-made, the belief that Barack Obama is Muslim and wasn't born in the United States, the insistence that all Arabs are Muslim and all Muslims are terrorists, the inexplicable perceptions that immigrants are both too lazy to work and are about to steal your job."

I then responded to the Lib's comment by telling him I could easily refute the lies spouted by the author of the linked article but I highly doubt the aforementioned commenter really believed that tripe himself.

He responded by challenging me to "go to it".

I didn't (not there, anyway), because as Lone Ranger has noted, ad infinitum, "Liberals not only refuse to learn from their mistakes, they refuse to admit them."

However, I will now attempt to refute the false charges leveled against Fox news, one by one, right here, right now, on my blog:

First falsehood: "the belief that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction."

Saddam Hussein did indeed have weapons of mass destruction, as Iraqis unfortunately found out the hard way when he used them against his own citizens. Not only did he have WMD, but even the Democrats admitted to that fact.

This is not opinion
. It is historical fact. All one needs to do is look it up.

Second falsehood: "[H]e (Saddam Hussein) was in on 9/11."

This charge is probably the closest to the most accurate, but still way off base. There is no evidence that Hussein wasn't in on the conspiracy to attack the USA, but there is a suggestion that he may well have known about the impending attacks in advance. At any rate, if Hussein did not invite al Qaida to come to Iraq to conduct their terrorists training camps, he certainly didn't discourage them, or ask them to cease and desist, and he celebrated the terrorist attacks on 9/11 right along with bin Laden.

Also, I don't recall ever hearing Fox news make that particular charge, except in a speculative way, which is a far cry from deliberate misinformation. So, the statement that Fox misinformed their viewers in that regard is in itself, false.

Third: "the belief that climate change isn't real and/or man-made."

How can a theory that is unproven and unprovable be the subject of misinformation? Climate Change, or Global Warming, as it was originally called before real scientists (you know, the ones without an agenda) proved the earth was not warming but cooling, has never been proven, nor is there any evidence that it is any more than a theory, and a completely implausible theory at that.

Fourth: "T]he belief that Barack Obama is Muslim and wasn't born in the United States"

Fox news never made that claim. They did, however, report that others have made that claim, but they never made that claim themselves, and that usually in conjunction with a disclaimer that the opinions expressed by guests on their commentary programs are not necessarily the official opinions of Fox News. As any good news outlet should, they simply reported what others have said, and let the viewers decide.

In fact, it is the Liberal media outlets, such as MSNBC, CNN, and others who have propagated that misinformation under the guise of claiming Fox News is the culprit.

Fifth: "Arabs are Muslim and all Muslims are terrorists"

No one--not Fox news--not anyone, has ever, EVER made such an obvious stupid generality about Muslims and Arabs. Some Arabs are Christians. Some are atheists, and some are probably other religions as well.

Likewise, no one--certainly not Fox News-- has ever said all Muslims are terrorists. In fact, they have always clearly stated that, although most terrorists are Muslims, all Muslims are not terrorists. This fifth charge against Fox news is patently false and quite frankly, created out of whole cloth. It's difficult (to say the least) to believe anyone, even a moronic Liberal, would make such a stupid and irresponsible accusation.

It's equally unbelievable to believe anyone, even a moronic, kool-aid drinking, dyed in the wool, lemming mentality, bleeding heart Liberal sob sister would believe such a ludicrous statement.

And last, but not least: "the inexplicable perceptions that immigrants are both too lazy to work and are about to steal your job."

The author of the article, as all Liberals continually do, conveniently left out the one word that defines the crux of the illegal immigration argument:

"Illegal".

But, to respond directly to the false allegation, Fox news has never created a perception that immigrants are lazy or "about to steal" anyone's job. Just the opposite, Fox news has repeatedly stated that, for the most part, legal immigrants are hard-working, responsible, upstanding, law abiding people, and that those who have become naturalized citizens usually love America as much, and sometimes even more than the average natural born citizen.

However, any perceptions about illegal aliens who have illegally entered our country, have mostly been the result of their own disregard for our nation's laws and sovereignty.

You know, I'm just an ordinary guy, but even I can easily refute these ridiculous, slanderous accusations. Imagine what Mark Levin or Rush Limbaugh could do with them.

In truth, I didn't read the rest of the article. I couldn't get past that run on sentence that I copied and pasted here.

I just now went back and read it all.

I find it ironic that the author uses the very tactics that she accuses Fox of using.

Besides the fact that she is blatantly lying. It seems obvious that she has never actually watched Fox News in her life.

Liberals are too easy to prove wrong. What is the most fun about them is that they can never really live the philosophy they espouse.

Ducky's here said...

Well, let's start with No.!, mark. Remember, no censoring unless I go seriously ad hominem.

1. Saddam Hussein did indeed have weapons of mass destruction ...

Mark, that's the pure stinky cheese. He had some chemical agents years before the invasion but they were destroyed after Gulf I, remember?
Besides, a fighter strike on the village would have done as much carnage. And the casualties caused by chemical agents in the Iraq/Iran war were not significantly higher than conventional deaths. In other words, no nukes, no WMD. But anyway ... the UN sent inspectors, we sent inspectors and the only thing they could find was someone's botox treatment. Meanwhile, z and the rest of the ladies who lunch were besides themselves with fear that they were going to have sarin dropped in their vodka stingers.

It was a complete nuthouse. Right wing bed wetters screaming about the bala wood gliders that were going to wipe out the east coast, Tony Blair ginning up fear over Saddam's mobile labs of death, remember those (weather balloons), the yellowcake flap when Hussein was already sitting on a bunch of it.

Of course he was trying to process it, we had the news story of someone finding a centrifuge part buried under a rosebush, remember? Right wingers don't know that an enrichment program requires hundreds of centrifuges with an absolutely fail safe power supply. But they believed 'ol Auntie Condo Rice said those tubes were for centrifuges.

It's all a big national embarrassment that we were so stupid but the left tried to tell you.

"the inexplicable perceptions that immigrants are both too lazy to work and are about to steal your job."
-------------

Let me dispatch this one quickly. Evidently the right can't fathom that a statement is a contradiction. Now rather than going off about "illegal means illegal" (a tautology, yeah no sh--) you may try to explain how your reason allows you to simultaneously hold the two contradictory clauses cited.

Ducky's here said...

"T]he belief that Barack Obama is Muslim and wasn't born in the United States"

Fox news never made that claim.

-------

That may be true. I don't watch much but they have certainly given birthers and other assorted freaks a platform and as a result Fox listeners are big believers in the Muslim and birther nonsense.

But come again, Glenn "He's Psycho" Beck never pitched the birther cause? I don't image either he or Innanity or the rest tried to debunk it.

Mark said...

"the UN sent inspectors"

As I remember, Saddam refused to let the inspectors into Iraq, breaking about 13 UN resolutions in the process, before he pretended to relent and finally let them in, but still only allowed them to go to limited areas. The time he stalled the inspectors was more than enough time to hide or move the WMD out of Iraq.

"Evidently the right can't fathom that a statement is a contradiction."

What are you talking about? It wasn't the right that made that statement. It was the lying Liberal author of the article. She wrote Fox news created that perception of (illegal) aliens. Since Fox News never even suggested immigrants are lazy or trying to steal anyone's jobs, she lied. You have refuted nothing, Duck Breath.

And, as far as the "birther nonsense"... Just as I said, Fox News neither said that or propagated it.

Your problem is that you can't conceive of anyone being able to think for themselves. Fox news doesn't need to create perceptions, false or otherwise, because Conservatives are smart enough to form their own opinions. You've been falling for the Liberal lies so long, you are the one with false perceptions.

Lone Ranger said...

Well, if Saddam did NOT have WMDs, then it must be liberals who are stupid.

I think Bush invaded Iraq just to get all those democrats off his back.

Ducky's here said...

Third: "the belief that climate change isn't real and/or man-made."

------------------------------

A theory is by definition unproven. I have to deduct points for that blunder.

However, the "real scientists" (you make a fool of yourself here, who has an agenda?) were able to prove the antithesis.

And the theory is implausible? Please, you are writing utter nonsense. Get a copy of Popper and study th scientific method or keep listening to "Talent on Loan from Synthetic Morphine" Limbaugh and completely lose your reasoning faculties.

Ducky's here said...

No Lone Ranger, it would be more appropriate to say they were all playing on your stupidity.

Oh look, the crack Iraqi spec-ops are going to night drop and put ricin in the water supply !!

However, you do seem to admit the "WMD" (rusting mustard gas shells, LMAO) was a complete con.

----------------

A bit of hyperbole in this case. A bit, but many in your blogging circle from the ex-marine, mustang who calls all muslims "mosque monkeys" to more polite bigots like Always on Watch know very little about Islam and are ready to pass themselves off as knowledgeable.

This is a nation that became a collection of Islamic scholars in a very short time after 9/11. Now previously the average fringe right winger wouldn't know Sunni from Sufi but all of a sudden they became experts on sharia and everything Muslim. They even believe sharia is uniform across the Muslim world.

Now who ginned up this nonsense? Bill O'Reilly for one has been an outstanding ignoramus. He's leading the charge in making sure you don't know your ass from your elbow concerning the contemporary history of the Muslim Brotherhood, for instance.

Now that ignorance is going to play into our easily backing an extension of the Mubarak regime as we make sure the sand n-----s don't get too uppity, right?

In short, to say that the right wing isn't cruising on misinformation which Fox happily augments is quite naive.

Jim said...

"Saddam Hussein did indeed have weapons of mass destruction"

Yes, at one time he did. However, there was no evidence that he had them in 2003. In fact, the "evidence" that the Bush administration used was refuted be people within the administration.

"Democrats admitted to that fact." No, they bought into it, not admitted. And many of your quotes by democrats were years before the invasion.

In short, there was no evidence that Saddam's "WMDs" presented any danger to the US in 2002-2003.

"There is no evidence that Hussein wasn't in on the conspiracy to attack the USA"

You're kidding, right? You are going to justify invading Iraq because of "no evidence"? There's no evidence that Piers Morgan wasn't in on the conspiracy either.

"There is a suggestion that he may well have known about the impending attacks in advance."

Suggested by whom? It is also suggested that George W. Bush knew about the impending attacks in advance. So this is your argument?

"How can a theory that is unproven and unprovable be the subject of misinformation?"

This part of your post proves the point. You don't know what a theory is, apparently. Gravitation is a theory. Relativity is a theory. And apparently you believe that the vast majority of the climate scientific community has an agenda that promotes something that is not shown by observation and measurement. So your "real scientists", few though they may be, have no agenda and yet feel free to oppose mountainous, peer reviewed studies.

"a completely implausible theory at that."

To you maybe, not to the vast majority of climate scientists.

"Fox news never made that claim. They did, however, report that others have made that claim, but they never made that claim themselves."

Of course! That is their modus operandi. They let people say anything and then don't refute it. They allow Bachmann to say that the US spent $200 million a day on Obama's trip to India without questioning her source or telling her that the figure is absurd on its face.

"As any good news outlet should, they simply reported what others have said, and let the viewers decide."

And there you have the crux of the problem. If this is what you think reporting is, then you are obviously a Fox viewer and you are most likely to be misinformed. They bring on anybody they want to tell their story and then the viewer can decide if that person knows what they are talking about.

A reporters job is to tell who, what, when, where, and why. The answer to those questions is not who said what, when, where and why. The job of reporters is to provide facts, context, evidence, and sources and any informatioin that contradicts what someone has said. Not just quotes.

"No one--not Fox news--not anyone, has ever, EVER made such an obvious stupid generality about Muslims and Arabs."

Uh, you have apparently missed the Bill O'Reilly show for the last several years. O'Reilly does not say that 19 well-educated and well-financed, radical members of a militant Islamic group attacked the US on 9/11. He says "Muslims" attacked us. He constantly refers to the "Muslim problem". He will question his guests and ask, "Isn't it true that we have a 'Muslim problem'?" This is his tactic. He has often suggested that most terrorists are Muslims and therefore all Muslims are suspect.

"Just the opposite, Fox news has repeatedly stated that, for the most part, legal immigrants are hard-working, responsible, upstanding, law abiding people"

And there by implication is the idea that "illegal" immigrants are not. The fact is illegal immigrants come here for work, not for welfare.

"However, any perceptions about illegal aliens who have illegally entered our country, have mostly been the result of their own disregard for our nation's laws and sovereignty."

That's an absurd statement on its face.

"even I can easily refute these ridiculous, slanderous accusations."

Jim said...

"Yes I did, Jim"

Uh, no. I shot down all yours. Your "refutation" failed.

Hey Z. Everyone knows that Saddam had WMDs at one time and used them on Iraqis. (I could imagine that 900 Kurds could easily be killed by small arms fire and not WMDs.) The US also had slaves. We don't now. And Saddam did not have anything that constituted a threat to the US in 2003. The administration had no strong evidence that they did. Their evidence was mostly the same as yours: "Well he had them 10 years ago!"

Mark said...

Jim, you idiot. What part of "he had time to hide or move the WMD" didn't you understand? Good gosh, Jim, he refused to let the inspectors in for four years. How much hiding and moving could you do in 4 years?

He had WMD. You have to be stupid to sincerely believe he didn't.

Jim said...

"You have to be stupid to sincerely believe he didn't."

Mark, you imbecile. The entire US Army in Iraq could not find them. No Iraqi has come forward to point out where the WMDs were or had been or how they were "smuggled" out of the country. The inspectors were there for months before the invasion. They found no WMDs, and though their efforts were hampered by Saddam, they believed they were performing effective inspections up until the time that BUSH had them removed.

It's clear that Saddam wanted people (especially Iran) to believe he had WMDs when he didn't. He certainly fooled you.

Only a very few people (who continue to want to justify the invasion) still believe that Saddam had usable WMDs and the time of the invasion.

Lone Ranger said...

Time to spank Jim again.

The WikiLeaks Web site has released a massive cache of almost 400,000 Iraq war documents They revealed that chemical weapons were found in Iraq and continued to surface for years after the 2003 US invasion.

Yep, and you can also still find a live round of ammunition in the sand dunes of the long-abandoned Fort Ord shooting range, too.

Here's a typical quote from one of many articles on Wikileaks:

WikiLeaks documents don't reveal evidence of a massive weapons program by Saddam Hussein — the Bush administration’s leading rationale for invading Iraq -- or some enormous stockpile of WMD, but do reveal that chemical weapons did vanish from the Iraqi battlefield.

I'm on the side that loves this country and knows it is the best civilization this planet has produced, with so much sacrifice of blood and treasure to ensure a chance for freedom and prosperity for the downtrodden masses of the rest of the world.

I'm on the side that loves Jesus.

I'm on the side that hates EVIL.

I'm on the side that cherishes Human Life and condemns those who allow the heinous mass murder of innocent unborn children.

I'm on the side of Free Enterprise as opposed to democrat party imposed socialism and welfare stateism.

I'm on the side that doesn't want government interference in the minutia of every aspect of my daily life.

I'm on the side that believes in our constitution and the tenth Amendment.

I'm on the side that values the concept of the traditional American Family

I'm on the side of truth, logic and knowledge.

I'm on the side that promotes religious freedom.

I'm on the side that appreciates veterans and the service.

I'm on the side that LIVES these ideas, doesn't just pay lip service to them and then do the opposite, like treasonous liberal moronic lying democrats ofttimes do.

Are you getting this, "jim" ?

Is it making you ashamed of yourself? I doubt it. But it burns, does it not?

Now, why are you so fond of "Birth of a Nation"?

Ducky's here said...

Lone Ranger, the Wilson quote has never been successfully attributed. Not that he wasn't a racist.

The quote is interesting because it demonstrates how people hang on to aphorisms they pick up online without doing proper research. Very similar to the Fox news listeners reaction to the great WMD scare.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Ducky,

Mr."professional film editor with a fine arts degree" does not impress me at all. The type of "fine arts" coming from liberals include a crucifix in a jar of pee, and every other nihilistic art form. Large numbers of TV and movie productions from Hollywood are nothing but liberal propaganda devices. And you have a problem with "Casablanca"?!?

By the way, I must agree that "Birth of a Nation," for all the accomplishments it may have made in the movie industry, it really was a propaganda piece which I felt tortured to watch just to find out why it was considered so ground-breaking!

Ducky's here said...

Yes I anticipated that Chatfield, a guy retired on the government teat after a career of falling asleep and playing cards in the tower.

Have you ever studied the French New Wave. Andre Bazin was a founding influence and felt that "every frame should reflect the glory of God's creation". Try Robert Bresson or Eric Rohmer. They might open your eyes because all you know of art is the Serrano photo. Always comes up. So I offer a coupe examples just to widen your scope.

See once again it's this Fox News syndrome where you respond with a sound bite just like a trained seal. You don't think for yourselves and you demonstrate it constantly

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Ducky,

You just demonstrated a lot of stupidity with your comment. You libeled me by claiming I fell asleep in the tower. I never, ever in my entire FAA career slept on the job, not even while on break. As for playing cards, yes I played cards in the tower when not of a position - i.e. BREAK!

Air Traffic Control is one of those jobs which NEED to be a federal job because it deals with interstate and international laws, etc. Saying a controller sucked the government teat is the same as saying the military does so.

I don't watch Fox News because I cannot receive it, nor do I get much radio. I happen to be an individual who is able to think for myself, which is something you liberals rarely know anything about.

No, I'm not familiar with anything made in France - but coming from a socialist country wouldn't speak well of it. But I believe the context of my comment was American art.

Oh, and by the way, I'm convinced the sleeping of the job by the ATC's, except for the first one who was a supervisor, was a union action. They've been trying to get two people on the mids for a couple decades and this was their ace in the hole. If there is something wrong with ATC it is the liberal union!

Ducky's here said...

Yup, that's how you started out Chatfield and then when you got it back you start your little whine. The old give but can't take.

You reject one of the greatest film making nations completely but you can discuss American art, pretty large topic. Where would you like to start or is your exposure so limited that all you can do is whine like a little girl about Serrano.

You are a typical fringe right winger. Insulated, ignorant and proud of it and unwilling to learn. I believe this is because you take an evangelical world view but we can discuss that if you like.

Trader Rick said...

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Hey ducky

Just where was it that I whined?

I always find it amusing when artists judge art. I've seen enough of your type of art that you praise. I have seen some French stuff and find it to be downright dumb. I'll stick with Alfred Hitchcock, thank you.

Ducky's here said...

Chatfield, take a look at my profile.

"My type of art" is the early Renaissance. Would you like to discuss the differences between Siennese and Florentine painting?

Why do you jump to a conclusion about "my type of art"? Remember, I'm a Bostonian. The art scene here ignored the last half of the twentieth century.

I bring up whining about Serrano because it is the standard response the right proffers on matters of art. It's either that or "My four year old could paint a Pollack" (your four year old couldn't even manage the color palette let alone control the paint).

French stuff, Hitchcock? You walked into a straight right again. Truffaut, Chabrol, Melville all heavily influenced by Hitchcock who was very much admired by the "cahiers du cinema" young turks.

The point being, the right has a static world view that can be easily manipulated by the likes of Fox soundbites since your response is pre-determined. There is no room for inquiry in your world, you've got the teleology all figured out. It harms us as a nation.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Hey Ducky,

Firstly, I never whined about Serrano - I never mentioned him. That name was only mentioned in YOUR comment and I ignored it. So, again, where was my whine?

All being Bostonian tells me is that you are a liberal, but you’ve already demonstrated that.

Here is all I need to know about art: 1. What worldview is being presented? 2. Does it glorify God or man?

That’s all I need to know. I don’t care who the artists are or what styles they use, etc. If it doesn’t present a godly worldview and doesn’t glorify God, then it has no value in my book. As noted before, much of what passes for art is nothing but nihilism. When it comes to TV and movies, way too much liberal propaganda.

As I said, being a professional film editor with a fine arts degree holds no water in my book.

The left has a world view that is self-focused, anti-God, hedonistic, and is unable to live the philosophy espoused. And THAT is what harms us as a nation.

Trader Rick said...

But if you just HATE, and have nothing to love, where's the fun in that?

It's OBVIOUS these libtrolls hate our country, its people, its values, its heritage, and really just anything about it.

But what do they LOVE? Nothing. They must really live sad depressing lives.

I, for one am going to stop calling these sick morons bad names. These idiots don't know what they're doing and probably could find some semblence of joy in a mental hospital and enjoy being spoon be fed some nice hot soup.

We can't shame them or logic them into a sane world view, so they are hopeless lost souls. Maybe we should just hug them and say "there, there".

It's really tough tho, since they are trying to destroy our cherished way of life.

Ducky, forgive me if I don't consider a Fine arts degree and a vocation involving anything regarding movies as important or valuable than three degrees in three different fields; Business, History, and journalism.

C'mon...film editor? How does that make qualify you to comment on anything important? Movie people exist in a fantasy world. You wouldn't know reality if it stepped up and socked you in the nose. Get it? The movies are not reality. They are entertainment pure and simple. Nothing more. That's how I can enjoy movies and TV shows that have the most asinine Liberal actors and actors in them. I consider them nothing more than entertainment.

Trader Rick has more brains in his little finger than you possess in your fevered imagination.

I majored in fine arts myself, and I understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Art is only great if the individual thinks it is.

Just as someone like you might see art in a photo of a crucifix immersed in a jar of urine, or a portrait of the Mother of Jesus covered in cow dung, I don't. It doesn't take talent to be disrespectful and obscene.

I see art in things that take actual talent to create such as an oil painting by Caravaggio or a sculpture by Michelangelo.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. So, if Rick happen to like "Birth of a Nation", Why does he have to explain why? Why do you like those stupid foreign language films with boring and meandering dialogue that make even less sense in English?

I have my theory of why you like them, but frankly, I don't much care why. You like what you like (although, it defies logic that you do) and I like what I like, and Trader Rick likes what he likes.

Dick said, "it's fun to love your country (USA) and hate her enemies (Soviet Union..."

Soviet Union? Still stuck in the 80s, Dick?

And Dick said, "It's OBVIOUS these libtrolls hate our country, its people, its values, its heritage, and really just anything about it."

"they are trying to destroy our cherished way of life."

What a moron!

Since we are now familiar with some of the academic portions of our curriculum vitae, perhaps the anonymous troll "jim" can enlighten us with what reform school he dropped out of, since he sees fit to call me a moron?

Not that it's important, mind you, but it may provide us some small insight into how his mind misfunctions...

Ducky's here said...

So, if Rick happen to like "Birth of a Nation", Why does he have to explain why?

------------------

He doesn't "have to" but in the case of a film that is so notorious it may not be Griffith's mis-en-scene which attracts him.
It woud be interesting to get some hard content from Rick rather than aphorisms about his "patriotism".

Ducky's here said...

Why do you like those stupid foreign language films with boring and meandering dialogue that make even less sense in English?
-------------------------

Primarily because I believe film can be transformative and foreign directors have consistent themes that are better developed.

For instance, Jacques Rivette is quite insightful about our need for conspiracy theories. Unfortunately you can't get his early work without a region free player, which few people have, but he's quite relevant.

Can you point to serious themes in contemporary film? Not too easy. Very little like Godard's analysis of the role of pop culture, Ozu's analysis of the dynamics of the family, Bergman's search for God, Antonioni's study of alienation.

The themes attract me and expand the world. This is probably not valued by right wingers who live in a world of narrow revealed truth.

My God! You're just like those films! Boring and meandering!

How would you know if they're boring? You've never seen any of them.

I will admit that when you start measuring ASL in minutes you do lose the fringe right Ritalin crowd who demand attention deficit disorder editing with an ASL no greater than four.

Glenn E. Chatfield said...

Excuse me, Ducky,
It is the liberals and their psychobabble who invented ADD/ADHD and conspired with the pharmaceutical companies to force Ritalin on everyone. So the "Ritalin crowd" are leftists, not "fringe right."

I personally like long movies - if they are worth watching. One of the longest, most boring movies I ever watched was "The Right Stuff." It insulted my intelligence all the way through.

I personally like the bagpipes also so we do have some points in common.

Still waiting for the anonymous troll "jim" to lie about his academic creds...

Jim said...

I need not provide any "academic creds", least of all to you, Dick, to pronounce you a moron. Your statement that I quoted makes for a prima facie case.

Trader Rick said...

Right, I knew it. Jr. High School drop-out and from the sound of it, not too proud of it...

Remain anonymous, my friend. It suits you so well.

Well, at least we know Jim's education wasn't in Latin.

If one believes the \"fair and balanced\" place, we note:
"But Vice President Dick Cheney (search) said in an Aug. 26, 2002 speech, 6 1/2 months before the invasion, that "simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies and against us." ...and...
"What U.S. forces found:

—A single artillery shell filled with two chemicals that, when mixed while the shell was in flight, would have created sarin. U.S. forces learned of it only when insurgents, apparently believing it was filled with conventional explosives, tried to detonate it as a roadside bomb in May in Baghdad. Two U.S. soldiers suffered from symptoms of low-level exposure to the nerve agent. The shell was from Saddam's pre-1991 stockpile.

—Another old artillery shell, also rigged as a bomb and found in May, showed signs it once contained mustard agent.

—Two small rocket warheads, turned over to Polish troops by an informer, that showed signs they once were filled with sarin.

—Centrifuge parts buried in a former nuclear scientist's garden in Baghdad. These were part of Saddam's pre-1991 nuclear program, which was dismantled after the 1991 Persian Gulf War. The scientist also had centrifuge design documents.

—A vial of live botulinum toxin, which can be used as a biological weapon, in another scientist's refrigerator. The scientist said it had been there since 1993"

A vial of botulism toxin? I already told you right wing rubes that we sent a commission and they turned up someones botox treatment. Catch up.

Wow mustard gas shells. That qualifies as a weapon of mass destruction to you right wing diaper pissers?

Let's review for the right wing short bus crew.

Hey, Mark, time for a new blogpost!!!

Sounds like the anonymous troll "jim" has been muzzled on account of his shameful refusal to provide any educational background. And "daffy" is just getting incoherent,potty-mouthed, silly, and bizarre--so we need a fresh issue to demolish them with...

Oh, by the way, I hear they're partnering up with a new blog==working title "Defenders of Saddam"

Jim said...

I feel no obligation to provide my educational background to a dick.
