True Colors

"The smaller the mind the greater the conceit." ~ Aesop

I read this story earlier this week, and was struck by two observances:

1. From the way he responded to Pat Sajak's statement, as well as the arrogant tone he manifested as a sports reporter so many years ago, Keith Olberman has apparently always been a condescending elitist.

2. Even back then, Keith thought Federal legislation was the answer to everything with which he disagrees. He suggested that the "Icky shuffle" should be outlawed by an act of Congress.

Yes, I know it was a joke. But considering the first thing Liberals want to do in handling a problem is either throw money at it, or legislate it out of existence, I wonder if he really was kidding.

Watch this, and you'll see what I'm talking about:

Over the course of years, most people evolve into better educated, more intelligent beings. Keith Olberman has devolved.

Uh, not really. This clip shows a sports-caster with a shtick. Big whoop!

If you want condescension and arrogance, try Bill O'Reilly.

The difference is, O'Reilly is intelligent, fair and RIGHT,while Keithy-boy is none of these things. Of course, "Jim" cannot see that, as he is blinded by his Marxist UnAmerican filter.

O'Reilly is a smart guy, at times fair, but far from 'RIGHT.'

He's a card carrying Independent, and accordingly gives passes to those on the left way more than I, as a 'RIGHT' guy would appreciate.

I am not sure why everyone thinks O'Reilly is some far right fascist: he's not. He's a squishy centrist. And please, don't get him started on Big Oil's conspiracy to screw us all, ...

The thing that separates O'Reilly, Beck and Hannity shows like Olberman and that woman who looks like a 12 year old boy is that the Fox opinion shows will have someone on who disagrees with them. They argue it out and the watchers can decide who was right. MSNBC and the rest just tell their listeners what to think.

Olberman has evolved into an angry, mean spirited, hateful charactiture of himself. He is way to full of self-righteousness and self-importance.

No, you are a fascist, unamerican bigot. Nyah, nyah, nyah.

I never said that O'Reilly was RIGHT. I did imply that he is arrogant. To quote BO himself, "There's no question about it."

"the Fox opinion shows will have someone on who disagrees with them. "

Really? In a good month, Fox's ratio of Republican to Democrat is about 6:1.

"MSNBC and the rest just tell their listeners what to think."

I watch Fox; obviously you don't watch MSNBC. Matthews has Pat Buchanan on regularly. He also has Republican strategists (real Republican strategists, not fake ones like the fake "Democrats" on Fox) and Republican politician's will come on Matthews and Maddow's shows because they know they'll get a fair hearing.

"If you want condescension and arrogance, try Jim."

That's it?

By "right" I meant "correct" in O'Reilly's case..

The reason we can't stand to watch CNN or MSNBC, "Jim", you fascist racist, is that it's like listening to fingernails scratching a chalkboard. After a few minutes you throw up in your mouth and have to change channels because of the stupidity, distortion and outright lies you hear. If there was intelligent discussion of the UnAmerican Marxist viewpoint you love so much, "Jim", we could stand it. But there isn't.

For those of us who love this country and its heritage and people, we can't fathom the depth of depravity in today's democrat party and media. Just as you can't begin to understand our passion, "Jim" and that's a pity.

BTW, "Jim", don't mistake our comments about you for good natured bantering--we genuinely dislike you, because of your attitude and positions. It's not personal--you have chosen to remain an anonymous blank face.

That freaking hilarious, Can you please point out one time when any of the above actually disagreed with the Liberal establishment. They never have because they're there to tell people what to think not actually make them think.

TR: "we genuinely dislike you"

I might be hurt if I gave a s**t who you like or dislike. But this is not surprising coming from you.

"It's not personal--you have chosen to remain an anonymous blank face."

Not personal? Bulls**t. My posts have a name and a link, [fill in delete-worthy epithet here].
