A Great Quote

"No. Just...I'm OK." ~ Alvin Greene

Ann Coulter, on South Carolina Democratic Senate nominee, Alvin Greene:

"Obama senior adviser David Axelrod said Greene was not a "legitimate" candidate and called his victory "a mysterious deal." (Yes, how could a young African-American man with strange origins, suspicious funding, shady associations, no experience, no qualifications, and no demonstrable work history come out of nowhere and win an election?)"

I do believe that Greene is a natural born US Citizen!

At least he could serve legitimately as president. Give him some teleprompter reading lessons and he could do at least as well as barack hussein obama.

As an SC resident for most of my life (minus 13 years in NC), I find this hilarious. State politicians have no idea what to do. Most think he's a plant, but can't figure out how he got so many people to vote for him, even though he didn't campaign. Now they are trying to blame the polling machines.

Best explanation I've heard so far is that his name was first on the list of candidates (alphabetically) and voters just chose because his name was on top. Kinda speaks to the intelligence of those who voted in the Democratic primary, doesn't it?

Randy, a consensus of Democrat voters say since Greene is a common name for African Americans in SC, African Americans overwhelmingly supported him because they "identified with him". Also, they speculate they might have thought he was soul singer Al Greene, whose full first name is Albert, not Alvin.

This may be an indicator of how Barack Obama was elected President with 98% of the black vote.

Of course, I wouldn't want to be accused of racism, for making such an inflammatory statement, but it shows to go ya... these are the qualifications required to be elected to public office if you are black in this country:

1. You need to be black.

That's all.

Ann Coulter said it well:

Yes, how could a young African-American man with strange origins, suspicious funding, shady associations, no experience, no qualifications, and no demonstrable work history come out of nowhere and win an election?

I gather Coulter is alluding to Barack Obama. Thing is, none of this applies to him except the African-American part.

"Jim" never ceases to amaze us with his total denial of reality. Actually, B. Hussein's just as WHITE as he is AFro-AMerican.., so he's wrong there, too.

And if Ann's statement about the boy president is so far off the mark, how on earth did "Jim" conclude that she was refering to him?

GOTCHA, Troll!!!

Jim, I admire your apostle-like devotion to your God.

Even his own party is starting to turn on him, but you are still 100% behind him.

Amazing.

Mark,
Greene did NO campaigning. I'm betting the voters that voted for him had no idea of his race.

Name association may have played a part, but I hadn't heard that theory espoused.

Randy I got it from Wikipedia.

What a stupid remark! I've watched that clown-ess for years and I know her "style".

the boy president

Really? GOTCHA!

I admire your apostle-like devotion to your God.

Another very stupid and repetitively stupid remark. Not my God, not my messiah, not any of those things. The man I voted for and the far superior choice to the alternative.

Let's not gang up on "Jim" anymore. He's pitiful. I'm beginning to feel sorry for him...As hard as it may be to fathom, he may actually believe this garbage he writes. It's quite possible he's not just trying to get your goat Mark.

Jim said...

Po, po pitiful me.

As hard as it may be to fathom

For you, sure. I'm sure you have trouble fathoming anything deeper than your navel, Rick.

Jim: "...none of this applies to him...?"

President BO came out of nowhere (the very definition of Chicago...not to mention the U.S. Senate, where he served a monumental less than a year), he had shady associations (Rev. Wright, Ayers, etc.), had little experience with anything except "community organizing.) Yep...fits President BO well.

Greene seems a lot like him. And so very articulate! He can neither think or speak his way out of a wet paper sack.

Nonsense!

not to mention the U.S. Senate, where he served a monumental less than a year

Um, elected in 2004, began serving in 2005 through 2008. Get your facts straight.

he had shady associations (Rev. Wright, Ayers, etc.

Says those who hate him. There is nothing "shady" proven by anybody.

had little experience with anything except "community organizing.

Harvard Law School, editor of Harvard Law Review end of first year, president Harvard Law Review in second year, graduated magna cum laude. Served as a professor of CONSTITUTIONAL LAW for 12 years.

Seven years in the Illinois State Senate. Elected to the US Senate in 2004.

Yep, little experience; came out of nowhere.

Spent a lot of time voting "Present".

Give it a rest, Jim. Obama had nothing going on in his past that made him any better qualified for POTUS than Greene has for whatever the heck it is he's running for. Barry's released nothing from his school days upon which anyone could peruse and determine his worth. His activities as a community organizer yielded no noteworthy results (if any). His time as an Illinois state senator is marred by more than a few stupid votes. The fact is, Jim, that you're just an Obama chump. It's OK. We're here to talk you down.
