What's In My Head
I've been trying to find this song somewhere off and on for over 20 years. Part of the problem in finding it was I had some crazy notion that it was recorded by Pay Price. I don't know how I got that idea.
"Well, I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison, And I went to pick her up in the rain. But before I could get to the station in the pick-up truck, She got runned over by a damned old train."
When guys say "my life has become a country song," this must be the song to which they refer!
