It is approximately 7:05 AM. At this precise moment fifty-six years ago, I was making my mother scream for drugs.
Gad.
I hate getting old.
On the plus side, there's gifts.
And cake.
This happens this same time every year. It's no big deal. If it didn't happen, it would be a big deal. At least for me.

ReplyDeleteI definitely screamed for drugs when I gave birth to my children. Did you ever see Carol Burnett's description of what it's like to give birth? Hilarious! She said if you want to imagine what the pain is like, just open your mouth wide, grasp your upper lip and pull it back over your head. OUCH!
Muslims should respect women more... after all, it's how they got here. :)
